Terms of Service
By downloading, installing, or using the AutoTracker 5.0 mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
AutoTracker 5.0 is a free vehicle maintenance tracking application provided by Sautech LLC. The App lets you create a virtual garage of your vehicles, track maintenance tasks, log service history, and discover nearby auto shops.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during sign-up and to notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure, including attempts to overwhelm the backend with automated requests.
- Submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, contains malware, or is unlawful.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos, vehicle records, service entries, and other content you upload. You grant Sautech LLC a limited license to store and display that content within the App solely to provide the service to you.
5. Maintenance information disclaimer
AutoTracker 5.0 provides general maintenance reminders and tracking tools. The App does not constitute professional automotive advice. Always consult your vehicle's owner manual or a qualified mechanic for service intervals and repairs specific to your vehicle. Sautech LLC is not responsible for vehicle damage, missed maintenance, or any consequences arising from reliance on App reminders.
6. Third-party services
The App integrates with third-party services (Google Places, Apple Push Notification Service, Resend, Convex). Their respective terms and policies apply to your use of those features. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the App's Account Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Sautech LLC does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sautech LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Sautech LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
